COVID-19 Protocols

We have taken into consideration the Hockey Manitoba Return to Play plan and the town of Ste Anne Arena policies in developing our policies.

Guest Limits

The Ste Anne Arena  is currently limited to a max occupancy of 75 guests. Ste Anne Minor Hockey is now limiting the number of guests allowed in the facility.

For practices, 1 guest per player.

For games, 2 guests per player.

Entrance and Exit

All visitors (players, coaches, refs, spectators) to the Ste Anne Arena are to enter the facility using the main entrance.

The main entrance will open 20 minutes prior to the scheduled ice time.

The doors will be locked 15 minutes after the start of the ice time.

When visitors are leaving the arena, they must follow the arrows to the exit, ensuring to follow proper physical distancing measures. Exits will be indicated on the interior and exterior side of the door

Ste Anne Players

Health Check and self-screening

Before attending any team event (games, practices, meetings, dryland) you must complete a Health Check through Team Snap.

The ability to complete this check in TeamSnap becomes active 8 hours prior to the start of the event.

Water bottles

  • Water bottles must be clearly labelled with the players name.
  • Water bottles must be filled at home. The water stations will be disabled at the Arena.
  • Water bottles cannot be shared.

Spitting

Spitting will not be tolerated. If you are found to be spitting on the ice or in the locker rooms you will be asked to leave the facility.

Parents

U7 & U9 Parents

  • Players are required to come dressed in their equipment as much as possible.
  • One parent per child may enter the dressing room to assist with skates, and helmets.
  • Additional spectators will not be allowed into the facility until 5 minutes prior to the ice-time. Doors will be locked 15 minutes after the start of the ice time.
  • Physical distancing and room maximums must be adhered to.
  • Loitering cannot occur in the locker room or hallways.
  • Masks must be worn by parents at all times while in the facility.
  • Children with spectators must be supervised at all times. They cannot be playing or running around the facility.
  • Only one parent/guardian can return to the locker roon following the ice time. All other spectators must exit the facility immediately following the ice time.

U11, U13, U15 & U18 Parents

  • It is highly recommended that players come dressed in their equipment as much as possible.
  • Parents will not be allowed in the dressing rooms.
  • Spectators will be allowed into the facility 5 minutes prior to the ice time. Doors will be locked 15 minutes after the start of the ice time.
  • Physical distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
  • Masks must be worn by parents at all times while in the facility.
  • Children with spectators must be supervised at all times. They cannot be playing or running around the facility.
  • All spectators must exit the facility immediately following the ice time.
